2012 Civic Insurance
Yes, I know. Non-tech. If mods want to move it, sure. But I figure it's the only way to reach Gen 9 Civic owners was in here.
Gen 8 Civic owners are welcome to reply.

1. Did you find the Gen 8-9 Civic insurance to be high for you (compare to other cars)?
2. Do you think rates will be lower, since Gen 9 is consider a "disappointment" to the Civic Community. Therefore, less appeal to younger owners, less losses, less theft claims?

Civic insurance is always a rip off. < Thank to all the low class thieves...
(this is for civic si 4 door)
Here's my scenario... I have 0 points, good driving record for many years straight, good credit, 800+, i drive less than 15k a year.
I get quotes of 800-1300 bucks for 6 months with full coverage, & 500 deductible.
and this is the quote i get when i request for a car that is 4 times the price of a civic...
2006 lexus ls460 = $400/6months...
(something is terribly wrong) Pisses me off....
what rates are you getting folks? Am i just one unlucky dude or am i not meant for civics?

My 2012 civic si was on the insurance with my 2009 tacoma and a maita and I was paying a little over 400 for 6 months.
The civic and the tacoma had full, better than average coverages, and the miata had better liability coverage.
Right now I'm paying about the same with the civic gone on a 2012 camaro ls and a 2011 silverado and another miata.
