Hey everyone...

I just picked a 96 JDM Spec R swap and the swap cam with TODA goodies ( cam gears , and header ) . They guy I got it from said that it might have toda camshafts and my other goodies . I took the valve cover off and I see the TODA stamp on the gears , but I dont know how to identify the camshafts and the other parts. The cams have a stamp in the middle with the letter K ? I did some research on I see that stamp K on stock itr cams but then again Im not sure .

If anyone can help me identify these parts " Stock itr or toda " I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Any letter at the END of the cams? I know 'B' at the end of the cams identifiy TODA Spec B...other than that not much can tell without the cams out.

^ ill see if I got time to take them out this week . I just thought maybe the stamp letter K (pic 1 on the left) would mean something.

i suspect oe ITR cams as those are factory spring retainers

i think those may be stock cams and retainers as well.

checking the ends of the cams are best way to tell as they'll be labelled A/B/C if it is a Toda cam.

hard to tell with my pics but these are my Toda B's and Toda Ti retainers before install in my motor (see the lobe profile difference, may not be accurate from looks alone though compared to your pics):

^ yeah i see the lobes are very close to the vtec one in the middle , and the retainers look different too .

Oh well not a big deal , I still got the full swap for the low . He also said he think's , he didnt say it does have TODA parts except the toda cam gears which are on there .
