Im not getting any spark, the fuel pump isnt priming...no power is going to it.
Ive replaced the main relay and even put it into a friends car and it worked fine. I also put my ecu into a friends car it also worked fine. The CEL stays solid when the key is turned on. I have also sanded down where the themostat is grounded. all fuses are good...pretty stumped, any ideas?

 

Double check 15A hood fuse 44 and 15A dash fuse 13 to see if they are blown.

 

I have done that about 10 times...they both are good

 

Click the fuses link in my signature. Do those two installed fuses have battery voltage at both top test tabs.

 

Yes i have checked those. Both tabs also have voltage

 

The main relay gets voltage from fuses 44 and 13. Verify that the main relay connector gets voltage on both of those main relay connector terminals by shorting those terminals to the fuel pump terminal to see whether the fuel pump runs.

 

44 and 13 both have 12 volts on them. What do u mean by shorting them

 

Use a jumper wire to connect the indicated terminal pairs in the unplugged main relay connector.

 

Ok I did that fuel pump kicked on and I have fuel pressure

 

Did it work for both tests?

 

Yes. I check voltage to the plug that goes to the dizzy also and had voltage but im not getting spark. Could a bad dizzy be the problem of all of this?

 

Reconnect the main relay plug and then unplug ECU connector A. Turn the key to ON(II) and then short the A16 terminal in the ECU connector to ground. Does the fuel pump run?

No it doesn't turn on but I can hear clicking under the hood somewhere

 

Where under the hood do you hear clicking? Are you sure you're grounding the A16 wire?

 

Also just put a friends ecu in and still nothin

Tested wrong one. 1 sec

No it still does not kick on

 

Do you have an OBD1 ECU?

 

Yes

 

At what point did you think it would be a bad idea to mention this important tidbit of information?

For OBD1, the Grn/Yel wire pins to A7 and A8 in ECU connector A:

With the key in ON(II), redo the grounding test with each of those two terminals. Does the pump run?
