Stalling problems
I have a 92 accord 5spd with over 200k miles, problems is when I start driving and I go to slow down it shuts off then I have to sit before it will start back. I just change the plugs and tube seals upper and lower. And I took the easy way out with the head-gasket and tried blue devil and it seems to be working. But I'm stomped I'm going to do a fuel pressure test tomorrow and check that. Is there anything I'm missing?
If you got a head gasket leak, it's only going to get worse until it finally blows completely. When yo u check for fuel pressure, though, close the hood with the gauge facing u while driving and keep an eye on the gauge as you stop and see if it corresponds with the car stalling. Your symptom sounds like a dirty pickup tube filter in the fuel tank tho.
I think you might be right about the pickup tube in the tank the car has been sitting for about 2 months and the tank was almost empty when I started it. I just hate to drop the tank. Hopefully it will last til the summer doing a H22a swap
