Well my Honda-fanboy'ism reached new heights and I recently purchased a 2000 NSX in San Francisco and drove it home with the help of Ryan (coolhandluke). The trip home was rather entertaining to friends to watch happen live on instagram and facebook but I'll sum up with various instagram pictures.

cliffs:
-started in SF
-drove to Laguna Seca
-Covered 120 miles of the PCH/US-1
-Blew out a tire in the AZ desert
-Ran into a horrid snowstorm in Texas
-Got home, somehow
-3,300 miles total















After this we covered OK, AR, TN and it was raining so there was really nothing worth documenting. Car is home safe and awesome.

1. That's what I said!!!
2. Those are OEM wheels, pretty much just 16 and 17" versions of ITR wheels (which is why I like them more)
3. I had caught the tire as it was coming apart quick enough to get it slowed down before the rest of it had went rolling down the highway. We got a shitty used tire in Blythe, CA.... I just put on 4 new XS's today though.

Lucky you! Super congrats It always fun and feels great coming home from a ride trip with a new caR. I did about 900 miles 12 hours when I bought my R. Absolutely <3 the first feelings when people break theirs neck looking @ you when you drive pass them on the highway will for you in this case, there probably breaking their necks and back looking @ youR NSX. LOL glad you made it home safe and looking forward to seeing pics of both caRs next to each other

It was in Amarillo on i-40, that little stretch of TX would have been the shortest of all states but instead it took almost 7 hours before the conditions forced us to quit.

M3 isn't sold yet, I'm not rushing to fire sell it but it is for sale though.

This car is a 2000 so it has the 3.2 and 6mt

Monday was rough dude, we were so far behind schedule and we woke up 7 miles into Oklahoma in a town called Erick and did the whole drive back to the Carolinas in one straight shot, I think it was around 1,700 miles.

I would love to have matching color cars, I did call on one 96 GPW but missed it by 2 days. My R is out of town right now but I'll make sure I get a spy vs spy picture when I get them together.

Yeah, it must be due to being an ITR fan that draws appeal to those wheels. I absolutely love them.

50,500 when I bought it friday... 54,000 now.
