Default Skid Plate for EG6

so has anyone made or know of a skid plate for an EG6. I am currently running an H22A in mine and i hate going over speed bumps and rail road tracks foor fear of scratching or bending my header. I saw a cooling plate and another reference to a skid plate but realy i found nothing on t. If any one has made one or knows a company that makes them can you help me? I plan to fabricate my own, but have no idea where i should start, or where to mount it. thanks

if you want it to last an impact you need to make it out of some pretty hefty material.

1/16" steel plate or so.

1/4" or 3/16" aluminum would be the common thickness. Just need to measure your bolt-bolt centers and figure out your plate profile in relation to those holes.

The skid plate on the rally car is 1/4" 6061, probably overkill for speed bumps and railroad crossings. 1/8" would probably be fine or 3/16" if you're that worried about it. Throw some ribs on the back side, build some brackets and you're golden.

Build a template out of poster board or cardboard, give it to a shop to bend up or do it yourself.
