96 accord come with keyless entry?
Any keyless entry system compatible with Honda should work. I had a cheapo alarm/keyless entry before, DIY Rattler. I bought it for $20 at a flea market and installed it myself. It worked great.
I then acquired Audiovox Prestige alarm system with 2-way paging remote. I added tilt sensor and glass breakage sensor, hood sensor. It works great! I love all the advanced features it has, but most of all, I love the paging (beeping of the remote) when the alarm goes off. It also has the little LCD display to tell me what caused the alarm to go off, be it, door open, knock and such.
Any keyless entry system should be good enough. Just make sure to get one with "code hopping" where it changes the communication code each time it unlocks, so that thieves dont steal your door unlock code.

ya id rather not have an alarm or aftermarket i prefer oem stuff so i was basicly wondering if the car came stock with it and some one along the line lost the key fob. i know you can buy key fob's on ebay but im not possitive on how to see if my accord has it or not and how to program a new remote. thanks for the info. thats a great link lost again.
so according to that chart it could have been a dealer add on anyone know how to tell? i guess i could call the dealership with my vin would they be able to tell?
Wait...you'd prefer NOT to have an alarm? Why...wouldn't you want an alarm? Mine has an alarm and it works as keyless entry too. If you don't want that chirp that everyone has, you can turn it off...
