Default oil temp switch.

how do you replace the oil temp switch on my 2000 Honda Accord? Do i have to put any kind of sealant on the threads that go into the head? please give details..the oil is leaking from this part. thanks.

It's a 4cyl Vtec..but it is not leaking from the oil switch...it is from the distributor..leaking from somewhere other than the o-ring..my mekanik replaced that already..i sure hope that i don't have to replace the dist., can i rebuild it or do i just cut my losses and just replace it....good grief charlie brown!!!!

As for the distributor, it can be the internal seal that is leaking or the o-ring that goes on the shaft.
