Hey all, I'm doing a swap. i have a d16y8 motor from a 5sp 98 civic ex that im dropping into my automatic 96 dx non-vtec. I'm gonna reuse my old dx auto tranny and bolt it up to the d16y8 that was orignally a 5sp. I already have the full ex 5spd wireing harness for a 98, a 98 5spd vtec ecu and was wondering how i would make the it work.

Will all the wiring match up with auto trans.?

I know I'm going to need to get an automatic vtech ecu, what else will I need to do?

I know I'm doing things backasswards but the car is for my dad and he doesnt like clutching and shifting.

Any knowledgeable input would be GREATLY appreciated.
