quick question about smog and car battery!!!

Default quick question about smog and car battery!!!

ok just a quick question here. i know battery have nothing to do with the smog stuff but im in california and im planning on buying a car that have a mild engine tuck and he relocated the battery into the car. will this be an issue for smog in california if the batter is not on site in the engine bay?

Shouldnt be, but I'd be more worried that the tucked (engine, lol) wires are including the charcoal canister/EVAP systems which if removed WILL cause problems.

yeah the charcoal canister is removed but i can just get another one at a junk yard and put it in again that's not a big deal.

No issues with battery in the trunk just make sure all the vacuum lines are in place like the under hood label and ignition timing is set.
