Default Code 43

What's up HT , I'm having a little bit of trouble here I can't get this danm code to go away it's a code 43 which comes up as FUEL SUPPLY , an I think for the 02sensor it's a 90 civic si with a complete d16z6 swap with obd1 conversion an running with a p28. The things I have replaced already I went through 2 o2sensors I also took my 62mm edelbrock throttle body an went with stock took my cam gear an put the stock 1 back on an my harmonic balancer an replaced with the stock. Now the reason why I took all that off is because I was having a problem with the timing ! I put both the timing marks on the cam an the balancer to there proper marks but when I would go to set the timing ignition (using a timing light of course ) it would be way off I would have to advance my distributor all the way an I still wouldn't be able to line up the red center mark of the 3 marks ? What can cause this an what can cause that code 43 any help will greatly be appreciated thanks

O2 sensor
Fuel filter
Fuel pressure regulator

Injectors, distributor, spark plugs, plug wires, and anything else that delivers fuel or ignites fuel that doesn't have a sensor of it's own.

Ok so the oxygen sensor is out of the question then given that I went through 2 of them so it can't be that fuel filter I do have a aftermarket one on there it's a JDM PASSWORD fuel filter maybe that can be it but I just bought it before I put the motor in an it's only been in for like a month (running) as far as the distributor it's brand new I just bought it yesterday with rotor didn't buy the cap maybe I can start there the plugs are pretty much new too but I was having a problem with the timing an it running really rich don't know if that can cause the plugs an the wires to go bad FPR is a vision adjustable an it holds pressure I have it set at like 35 an at WOT it hits 40 injectors I just changed cuz I was running the low impedance so I got the ones that belong to that motor which are high impedance an got rid of the resistor box . What causes the check engine light to come on I leak or something

Aftermarket FPRs are a usual problem. Try a stock one.
