D16z6 valve guide to valve clearance
I have a d16z6 and I'm putting new supertech valve bronze guides and valve.
I'm going to put boost on it.
I need to know the valve guide to valve clearance.
I want to get this to the machine shop today, I have searched and searched, but can't find an answer.
Thanks!!

OK well I found the info I need.
I called supertech and they told me to use the OEM specs..
Before I even got my question out they said OEM specs.
They probably tell everyone that!!
So I called Honda and they said the specs are:
Intake
0.0015 to 0.002
Exhaust
0.002 to 0.0025
After a little more research I found that bronze valve guides need to be a little bigger then OEM spec if you are boosting the engine.
Bronze valve guides get bigger when they get hot. They disperse heat better then steel or cast, but they do swell up a bit.
Because I'm putting boost on it, the clearance needs to be bigger then OEM. If you were going all motor then there is no need for a bigger clearance.
So I'm going with
Intake
0.002 to 0.0025
Exhaust
0.0025 to 0.003
