1996 Accord transmission swap
My automatic transmission is going out and I need a new one, however I would hate to put in the old transmission with the longest gears in Accord history so I was looking around and found the MP1A transmission from the 1992-1996 Prelude. It is also a 4 speed automatic. From what I've read everything bolts up but from what I know it couldn't possibly be that simple.
I know the gearing is short but in my commute I rarely have a chance to get above 45mph before I have to slow down for another turn.
As for getting a manual transmission I live in a very small city and nobody here knows anything about tuning cars so I really don't feel like risking it.
My question is, what else do I need to do this swap besides a transmission? Do I need a TCU? Wiring harness? Etc.
