http://www.preludeonline.com/showthr...threadid=88235 as I pointed out here...the real JDM way to wire the bulbs is the H4s for low only, and the H1s as highs, just like USDM wiring.

You can buy H4/H1 harnesses at a Pep Boys or whatever, I got them here at Canadian Tire, cost a couple bucks. Wire the lowbeam like Gude did above except use an H4 harness. It's easy.

haha i am desperate now!!!, i checked pepboys didnt have the h4 harness, so i went out there and ordered some h4 wire harness kit that people use to improve power supply, **** is like 25+shipping 35 bucks totalY!!! whatever like i said, i am desperate because i put the headlight on without wiring so i cant drive at NIGHT!!!! and when i get the h4 harness, my friend is going to wire it so highbeam and lowbeam can both work and h1 will be a foglight, thanks for the info guys! btw the prelude reenforcement is ******* hard to take out, like no other car out there! i had 9 cars b4 this, never had i had this much trouble taking something off!!

h4 bulbs have both high and low dont they? cant you just use the h4 for high and low and use the space where the USDM high is to put a fog light?

Yeah but you need to wire in a relay to make it work properly. Stock Prelude lights have high and low on at the same time cause they are in different housing/bulbs. You don't want both filaments on at the same time in an H4 bulb...dangerous

They don't even use one of the filaments. I proved it here http://www.preludeonline.com/showthr...threadid=88235

H4 = Low beam
H1 = HIgh Beam

Don't ask me why, that's just the way it is, the H4 high filament is not used

umm i know theres a way to wire it so that h4 will have highbeam and low beam and u can control that in the car... and the h1 will jsut be a foglight to be controlled by a switch. thats what i am going to do.

No you guys are not understanding what I'm saying....

Yes you could wire the H1s as "fogs" with a relay, but the fact of the matter is they are bright as **** and are not fog lights. They are high beams. Wiring the H4's for both highs and lows is a pain and if you want to do it go right ahead.

If the want the simple and true jdm way wire them the same as the USDM lights

9006 to H4 Harness

Red Lead (Low beam) = Top prong of H4
Black Lead (ground) = Left prong of H4 (Looking at back of bulb)

9005 to H1 harness

okay well these are both red with some other colour...but anyways just match them, one is ground, the other is the high beam lead. The JDM harnesses should have the same colour. Here's a pic for reference

u and me both buddy...

ok lets try something different here satansrv:

in japan the prelude headlights have H4 bulbs which have both high and low beams... in the center parts they have yellow fog lights... right? so what if i were to have the EXACT same japanese configuration with my headlights? is it possible?
