i know someone is going to say that there is cheaper versions out there.
so, my next question is.
i have read online that cheaper versions are a bit loose when used.
is this bluepoint snap on version closer to the oem honda tool in quality? or will it be loose like
Powerbuilt part #648796

I have used the Powerbuilt crank pulley tool many times. I have never noticed it being so loose that it would cause any problems.
Not sure what to rate it against. I have never used anything else. However, if I had to rate it, I guess I would have to give it a 10/10. It has performed as required every time I have used it.
For the average DIY'er the price and quality is right. Now if you had to do 2-3 timing belts a week. You would probably be better off spending the money and buying it off the truck.

gotcha. thanks. with your advice ill go with power built because of the price and quality. i am only doing it on the personal car. so i may not req that i get an expensive high quality snapon piece.
The Blue Point tool is just rebranded with a price mark-up. The power built tool is fine, and probably from the same factory anyway.
