Ok , i just bought a 00 usdm itr and its missing the climate control unit . I have searched all over , some people say it DOES some people say it DONT, and a lot of the threads are old as well.

Im in search of the itr faux carbon climate control unit , but the only ones I can find are the JDM itr ones. So before I spend money on the JDM itr climate control unit I wanna get some info on if it DOES or DOESNT fit now? And if it does , what needs to be modified to make it fit ?

Also I have one more question . I have the USDM itr cig lighter and the ashtray base , but im missing the ashtray . Will the jdm ashtray it self fit into the usdm base?

Yes and yes both the climate control and the ashtray itself will fit .... you have to switch the plugs around for the hazard button due to it being on the opposite side. GL

 

Ok cool , so its basically just plug it in and switch those two plugs and thats it ...

 

YUP!!

 

The JDM climate control physically fits, but the wire to adjust the temperature are different lengths (JDM vs USDM). You can always swap over the temperature adjust wire from USDM climate control (ITR or not) to the JDM unit.

 

also 96-97 jdm is CF look but ***** on vents are different, also temperature level has "cut look" in it
so look for 98-01 jdm or 00-01 usdm itr
