I want to get my quarter panels fixed since they are rusted.
Im thinking the best way is to buy the quarter panels. Going to take it to a body shop.
What price range you think it cost for redo my quarters and repaint whole car Granada Black Metallic stock color?

 

What shape is the rest of the car in? What paint line would you want to use?

Small dent in pass. door and hood, Surface rust on hood and roof. Other than that the car is fine. Paint line?

 

High end (PPG) or low end (OMNI, Limco, ect).

how bad isthe rust? i use waterbourne paint, some say its cheaper but i could care less they look the same. i do a overall paint for 1k and on top of the rust i would have to see how bad it is.

 

i would use either ppg or omni. man if you was closer to ny i would gladly do it for you.

 

1k is cheap, especially considering he wants new rear quarters welded in. For me, materials alone usually cost over 600$ (and that's with lower end paint). Plus all of the tens (or hundreds) of hours involved in body work...

 

Well lowest I got quoted my way. Welded quarters,Small body work, Paint for 800$ out the door with labor,material,and low end paint. Body isn't that bad at all besides the quarters. Professional done for 800$ isn't bad. I know a couple backyard painters that do good work. Imma see what there prices are.
