OK long story short had to replace my 2.3L in my 2002 Honda Accord so far so good trans was acting up so the place that put the motor in said to go to transmission shop (OMG) well they checked said all was fine just had a connector off it would not go into over drive or passing gear. OK the problem still now is the knock sensor error code keeps coming back I have replaced the sensor but still get the code error. this is the ULEV motor

Do I need to do something different since I put a replacement motor in the car? wiring harness issue? please help pockets going empty only had car about month from used car lot ....................................

any way to test the sensor? or wiring harness to fix this

check the wiring (should be simple to see if there's continuity from the sensor plug to the ecu)

 

Thanks will have them do that soon as I get free time. What if that will not work any other thought?

 

I had simular problem with a customers car, although it was a 96 civic lx, the engine was misfiring so badly it thru a knock sensor code, fixing the problem I changed the fuel filter,distributor cap and rotor, new plugs and wires.
