Default hondata s300 full throttle shift help

Trying to figure out how to wire up my fts on my s300. I have a dx hatch that does not come with cruise control from the factory, so I bought a cruise control switch to make the fts option work in the s300.. Can I send 12v(switched) to one side of the cruise control switch, with ground from the other side of the cruise control switch going to the psp B8 pinout to the ecu ..

So what are you trying to do? Push the cruise button when you are trying to shift? Are you sure you understand how full throttle shift actually works? Most people just use the clutch switch...

Hondata suggests using the cruise control switch, that is located on lower portion of the clutch pedal, so that when the pedal is pushed in it releases the switch to cut the ignition and lower the rpm to a safe point that you can shift without lifting off of the throttle.. I understand how it works, I don't think you understood my question..

I already installed the cruise control switch in the location on the clutch assembly, just not getting it to work in the s300..

Could you explain how you did this? Did you directly wire the cruise control to an input or did you use the factory wiring? So you would need the switch on the panel, the clutch switch, and the little box for the cruise control interface or no?

No interface box needed for the s300.. I spliced into the clutch switch(the one that is used when starting the car)(blue wire 12v) to one side of the cruise control switch I bought, then ran a ground from the other pin to the B8 pin-out in the harness.. Then just enable the input in the s300 software. You may have to invert the signal in the software..

Just for your info, my clutch switch is bypassed so I no longer need to press in the pedal to start my car..
