Honda Civic battery tray
Hey everyone,
I'm looking at Honda pictures from their catalog, but I can't spot for the life of me how following part is called.
The battery is on a tray (number 4 in the picture) and the tray supports on **something** that is bolted to the chassis. I'd describe it as a stand/support. Please take a look here http://estore.honda.com/honda/parts/...n=&b=B++06&dl=
But I can't find the stand thing. Can anyone tell me what I'm looking for
Thanks,
Jeroen

less than 5 bucks in the junkyard and I am sure not many people grab a battery tray when they go so you should find a few.

Come to think of it that would be a good idea. Mine's in such rusty condition that sand paper and paint is just too much hassle so a "new" one is fastest solution.
To make things worse, $56,00 more or less equals to $90 here in Belgium.

If you do decide to relocate the battery to the trunk, MAKE sure it is bolted down securely and the terminals are on tight. Just a precaution because if the positive wire gets grounded....your car will go up in smoke. I've seen it happen in person.
