Well, if you were dead set on RPF1's... then yes, you did get scammed. The good news is that those wheels are just as good (if not better). Those are AME Tracer's. Much harder to find, and quite a nice wheel. I would say their value is on the same level, if not a little bit more pricey then that of an equivalent RPF1.

I'm almost 100% positive that those are AME's, bud. They have the markings that coincide with the AME's I have dealt with.

Wow, first I looked at the pictures and felt REALLY bad for you, because they look like RPF1 knockoffs (Konig makes them I think).

Then toyomatt says that they're AME's, and my pity turned into envy! Haha you came up good on this one.

But yeah, just because the stamp says JAPAN doesn't mean they're legit, Japan makes knockoffs too

Ok thank you guys so I guess I spent my $600 wisely. Not too much info on these Rims online whats up with that? Are they really that rare? I see posts from a couple years back on multiple different forums seeing them sell for $1800-$2500 in 18" is this correct? I just got $2000 Rims for $600?

Ill post up pics when I get them on my S2000 thanks again man stay tuned to see how they look. Might have them painted before? Any suggestions on color for a suzuka blue S2000?

They're very rare here in the states, as there's really not a set AME distributor/retailer here. They're definitely rare compared to the RPF1, because they weren't made anywhere NEAR the quantity that the RPF1's are.

Yes, you did just make out quite well on that deal. If you had the centercaps as well, I'd say you just stole those wheels off the previous owner for that dollar amount.

This really isn't an appearance opinion forum, for that you should go to the Appearance/Cosmetic: Honda/Acura forum. But, I'd like to recommend that you have those wheels chemically stripped (not media blasted), and powder coated. That'd give you a nice, durable finish to some really nice wheels.
