Motor won't crank after putting new oil pan on?
Good evening
I have a 2008 civic si, and a few days ago I hit something solid in the road and cracked the oil pan, which I was unaware of driving. After losing oil pressure the like came on and I pulled the car over and shut the engine off. Now that I've got the new oil pan on and everything back together, I can't get it to start. Is there something I need to reset? I don't know what to do.

is the engine turning over on the starter and not firing up or not even turning on the starter??
Id say you have knocked/damaged/disconnected something while changing it!
Since the oil pan is down low, i would start my checking the crankshaft sensor and anything else it the same area!
If you hit something solid, its possible you tripped an inertia switch either!

I would unplug the battery for a few hours... maybe the ECU has built in protection from engine oil being low and it wont let it fire up.
