ive had this car trying to get it to run for some reason its not firing the timeing is fine new sparkplugs and cap and rotor tryed to spray either in the carb to see if its not getn gas and it still dosnt fire or even attemp to fire.. any ideas?

 

Check your grounds, make sure starter is getting power/works.

 

Does it turn over? How did you check that you're not getting fire? If it turns over and you're not getting fire, check your coil and ignitor.

 

Definatly the first thing to try. my coil fried a couple times along with the ignition control modual. Cheaper and better spark to go ahead and get the modified msd cap,rotor and external coil. Rather than replacing those pain in the *** peices. Was like 110.00 total. plus some 14 or 18 guage wire or w.e i got. Worked for me
