What tires for Basket Weaves?
I have some 14x6.5 basket weaves off an e30. I'm having trouble finding a 195 tire with a sidewall smaller than 65. Any ideas? I'd like to have somewhat of a low profile, but nothing crazy. Just smaller than 65 sidewall. Toyo proxes t1r's are a little pricey. My price range is ~300.

The car dictates the tire size, more so then the wheels. Try using a tire size calculator to help you find what sizes you can run safely on those wheels.

Thanks.
I think 185 60 14's will be okay. Theres not much of a difference compared to the stock wheel size. The car came standard with 175 70 13's.

185/60/14 would be the best tire to match the overall factory size. sidewall is only about 4.3". are you looking for a summer only tire or all-season?
obviously 195/65/14 was way too big. almost 6% larger than stock. and 5" sidewall
