Ground wire of 92 Civic door switch?
Can anyone tell me where or which is the wire of the dome light under the dash of a 1992 Civic? I know it's some where near the fuse but there's a bunch of wires. What color is it and I would appreciate it if you can show me a picture.
Factory service manual, (better than haynes or chiltons because you know it was made for your car, googling for it can find you a good pdf)

I want to ground my interior lights to the door switch wire so that when the doors open, the interior lights would turn on. Problem is, I don't know where to find that wire to ground the interior light. Is there another way? Help?
There's no ground wire. The switch grounds locally in the chassis where the door switch is mounted. Is the ceiling light bulb blown? Is the switch bad? Is the wire broken between the ceiling light and door switch?
There isnt a ground wire for the door switches? Im talking about the switch that tells the car if the doors are open or close. No, the ceiling light isnt blown. I just want to add another interior light and I want it to turn on with the dome light when the doors open. Does that make sense?
No the dome light switch isnt on the door. I just want to know if the switch on the door that tells the car if the doors are open or close has a ground wire. I want to ground my interior light to that ground wire so that when the doors open, the interior light would turn on with the dome light.
The driver's side wire, however, passes through the integrated control unit on the rear of the dash fuse box.
So which should I splice into? The green and red or the green and blue?
Grn/Red means green with a red stripe.
Splicing into the Grn/Red wire near the ceiling light (before it branches into separate Grn/Blu and Grn/Red wires) will turn your new interior light on when either the driver or passenger door is opened.
