hey guys, completely new to the import side of things. bought a 1991 crx HF, little rough but wanted a fun project. but im trying to keep it relatively low cost. needing to locate a passenger side front hub assembly short of the local dealerships prices.. anyone have any suggestions of where to pick one up? to my understanding the HF series hubs are smaller than most, rough idea of 1990 and 1991 only? any help is much appreciated!

 

You can use the parts of either the '88-91 HF or Civic STD models only.

 

awesome gives me a broader sprectrum, wouldnt happen to know of any quick to ship places i could pick one up would you? also. im sure they are. but a friend was wondering if they are different from front to back?

 

Quick to ship? Good luck finding a whole hub/bearing assembly. These bearings seperate from the hub and need to be pressed on/off. I made a write-up on how to do it with some basic hand tools.

The front and rear are completely different. Tell your "friend" there is no shame in not knowing something, unless of course you are on Honda-Tech, then... "ZoMg sEArcH n00b, juZ hitZ mAd vtAkS y0!"

 

yeah i posted that then looked and was like wha really? lol i knew they were press ins but didnt know if there was any aftermarket distributors who sold them
