I good friend traded in his '00 ITR (#279) about 7yrs ago to a Mitsu dealership in Orlando, Florida. We had lunch together last Friday and I asked if he had any ideas of where it was these days. He said it had been stolen. Anyone here have this car or info on it? He traded it in with some very nice parts on it because of a last minute decision. TIA
I have some history on this car if anyone has this vehicle in their possession.

Since it was stolen, then most likely the badge with that # is long separated from the car so I doubt any current owner is aware.
I'm pretty sure I've figured out the VIN. If I'm right, the stripped shell was sold on ebay a while back up in Brooklyn. It did have a FL Cert of Destruction. Good chance it was rebuilt by someone. A carfax would show any recent registrations/inspections.
Black ITR, right? Was your friend the original owner?
