Head Swap???
So I have a 93 accord w a 94 F22b2 non v I wanna Swap a DOHC Vtec Head on I have a F20 DohcV (Blue Top) n a H22 DohcV.. Which head would be better n what do I all have to do n what parts are needed.. I know what im doing, Im only asking cause ive never done this head swap bfor.. Any help would be awsome thanks guys!! Oh n heres something to start ur day too
At first I decided to not write on here since it takes a few seconds to google that. And then the picture loaded.... So here it is. It has been done before and here is the write up CLICK. The head doesn't matter since they are pretty much identical (except for IIRC the more aggressive cams on the F20B).

Well if you're not going to boost then any block will do. There is a bunch of people on CB7tuner with what people call a G22 (F (SOHC) block with a DOHC (usually H) head) and like them. Depends on what you want from your car really. The F20B is really rev happy but lacks some of the torque of the H22. I think that swapping an H22 in your car would be the easiest and you'll have some nice gains.
I might boost it for ***** n giggles down the road.. I have my H22/turbo EM1 for my play car.. Im really trying to do show n some go w the cb7.. anyways.. The "G22" swap abouts whats the hp gains.. Is it even comparable to an H22..
