FS: JDM B16A OEM Rebuild 0 miles
I am selling a JDM B16A engine. This is an OBDI engine out of the Civic SiRII, OEM specs are 168 HP @ 7800 rpm and 115 Ft-lbs @ 7000. This engine has just been fully disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt to OEM specs.
Every assembly has been inspected, cleaned and put back together. The block and head have been inspected for flatness, the combustion chambers and valves cleaned, cylinders honed.
The bearings have been measured using bore gauges and micrometers and then double checked with plastigauge. These are brand new OEM honda bearings; no corners were cut by using aftermarket bearings. The rings were replaced and filed to fit the OEM spec. Virtually every gasket and o-ring has been replaced as well as new NGK plugs and wires, and cap and rotor.
This motor is ready to be dropped in, included with the sale of the motor will be precise instructions to ensure a successful install and break in.

A good amount of money has been put into this motor to make it the way it should be. The only thing left besides putting it in and adding a filter and oil would be to paint the valve cover. I have intentionally left this out because everyone's tastes are different. If it is desired I can paint the VC a solid cover free of charge.

I am asking $2000 OBO, I am in no rush to sell this motor so please keep the low ***** to a minimum and please don't ask what the lowest I will take for it. We all know what these engines cost from Hmotors ($1500 plus 300 shipping plus the 200 dollars you need to spend on parts (spark plugs, spark plug wires, rotor, timing belt, water pump and tension pulley)) I am flexible on the price and am willing to do a payment plan if needed, no trades please unless it is a 02-03 Acura TL-S
