Default is this a b18c5?

it only says b18c on the LSD thingy but i can find no where that says b18c5. So far i found is the head says pr3-1 and its a b18c not b18c5 so its a jdm engine but the valve cover is usdm not jdm~.~. Where else can i look at to confirm that its a gsr or itr engine?
Also, engine number is 2005201

ya its a 98 jdm type r engine. Took it to a specialist today. Thanks everyone for the help.

It says p73 here

but it says p72-3 here

it says b18c

all b16a and b18cr have cast number pr3, you can look at the year it got made, or open it up and look for duel valve springs

Dude just search!! You are looking at the tranny vin not the motor vin. You already found where it would say b18c5.

help him out guy's.

the distributor is on the left bolted to the head, it has the spark plug wire's conected to it.
the engine stamp is to the left of the exhaust comeing off the motor
if it says b18c1 not type r b18c5 u have a type r
if it say's b18c it is jdm an you can look to see the green paint or open it up.

if ur that worried about it take it to a honda shop and let them help u.

also that's not a b18cr rocker cover?? the vtec is usually bigger then the dohc.
i could be wrong

If he can't identify the distributor, he'll never find the VTEC solenoid.
