Default acura legend swap in a cb7

I have been putting thought into doing this and researching it but havent found much info. I do know that the motor is front to back meaning the fire wall might have to be modded in order for the trans to fit. My concerns are the mounting issue and possibly a wire harnes and ecu situation. Has anyone ever seen this done before or have any insight on c series swaps in cb7 accord?

never seen it done, not impossible, just will require a huge amount of welding and fabrication skills. The end result will be a car that took a LOT of time and money to make work with an engine and drivetrain that was eliminated in Honda's lineup to make room for better options.

I would take a much harder look at the J series V6 found in the various V6 Accords, TLs, Odysseys, Pilots, etc. etc.

The J series is lighter, some versions have much more power than the C series Legend V6, and most importantly the J series is transverse mounted in the same configuration as your F series Acord 4 cylinder.

Mounting kits are made to put the J series V6 into Honda Civics, so it'd be much easier to modify a J series mout kit to have it fit into your Accord.

...then again if it were my car I'd take an even harder look a a K series 4 cylinder as they have been proven to make ridiculous power N/A. There are mount kits for those already too.

The 1995 CD5 came with a v6.

2.7 L C27A4 V6 (CE6)

But I would look into a J series too. You can get a 5 speed for the J series. Lots more parts and support.

The original post specifically mentioned the "front to back" mounted C engine, which is the C32A. He's talking about the 91-95 Legend type engine/diff/transmission set-up.

If he wanted a C27A4 like one found in the 95-96 Accord (and 89-90 Legend sedan and 88-90 Legend coupe) then he'd be best served to just find a 95/96 Accord V6.

I have thought about the j series a lot more support i have found through research. I have taken into consideration the aftermarket support too. J series are up and coming and are swapped into more and more hondas the reason i wanted a c series is to be different which is the whole reason i bought a cb7 in the first place. I have also thought about a kseries and have researched that as well.

it really comes down to cost whats available and how much modification comes down to it from the sounds of it a jseries would be more practical but again a legend swaped cb7 would be very unique and stand out more then a swapped cb7 would
