differences between H series motors
i'm sure this is a noob question and been gone over again and again, but i dont think i'm getting the right search criteria
i'm doing an H2B in my buddies/customers EK and we're purchasing the motor very shortly.
basically i'm leaning towards ordering a H23A DOHC vtec (blue valve cover motor)
i know the motor is an OBD2.
i'm assuming that converting an H motor to obd1 is similar to a B, swap the dizzy and a few sensors
is there any advantage or disadvantage to an OBD1 H22A or even an OBD2 H22A.
help and guidance is greatly appreciated. just trying to make sure my buddy/customer is getting what he's going after.
thanks guys

well the main difference in the blue top and the red top is the blue top tends to run a little bit cooler thats because of the cool blue valve cover. the red top,you guessed it, runs a bit on the hotter side. thats because of the red hot valve cover. now depending on where you live should determine the color you should choose.if you live up north in a colder climate, you will be better off with the red top. the red top will also warm up faster during those cold winters. if youre in the hotter climate of the south, you will be better off with a bluetop.
I was wrooooong
