97 STOCK DD AT DX- Rotational "friction" questions-issues...
This has been an issue for quite some time now... Maybe even over a year. My daily, which the axles have been replace twice now in 4 years(CV's) still has the same symptons. Any local mechanics say, "Hm, that's weird.." or "I don't see/feel anything.."
Basically, when I'm driving >30mph, I do not feel it at all. Accelerating to high way speeds, especially 80mph, it gets worse. It feels like, off the steering wheel and floor pedal, like rotational friction. Something is doing something purely off 'rotation' itself.
Tricky part, when I "turn" the wheel to the right, even past center a tad, I feel it more.. A buddy recommended checking my brakes, which I will do again on Monday. My main question is, if I keep having issues with my front axle/drive-shaft(2 times in 4 years), is it something there? The first one, I installed, and the second was done by a local buddy's shop recently and the issue is 'gone' at first but comes back, maybe after a month.
A couple points... It does it more under throttle, even just maybe a few 100 of cruising RPM's like going from 45-50. It also shakes, jutters, flutters, whatever you want to call it when I go over a decent bump or a pot hole... I've inspected everything I can. I'm afraid it's a trans issue.

More information is needed.
What exactly are you feeling? A vibration?
What kind of axle issue are you having that requires you replace them?
Have you had all four wheels balanced and the wheel alignment checked?
Have you inspected the tie rods, ball joints, struts, and control arms?

check your wheel bearings. When the right side wheel bearing went bad on my civic, didn't really notice anything other than juddering at highway speeds and the right side would squeak when I turned right bc the pad would rub on the rotor.
