Electronics short out during snow or rain
Hi! I've got a 1993 honda accord ex 4 door. During dry days everything works perfectly in the car, nothing abnormal about any electronic functions. When it rains/snows any number of the following things will happen:
Windshield wipers will turn on sporadicly and cannot decide how fast they want to go, could be once every minute, could be full speed. adjusting the wiper control has no effect
The tickers for the blinkers will go off buzz sporadicly.
The light will come on for the e-brake. This signal that the ebrake is on will freak out the computer and turn on the abs light also after about a mile.
if the windsheld wipers dont turn themselves on, usually the blinker will turn them on.
From my guesses, water is leaking in somewhere and shorting out electronics. From what i can tell there are no obvious leaks where water can get into the car. My question is, given the components that are freaking out during precipitation, where should i be looking for a leak that would allow water to get to the electronics of the car? thanks!
