My 1.6 EL's headlights have a couple of broken tabs and i saw a good deal on ebay for DOMANI headlights so i picked them up.

I am now wondering if i need to switch out the internal reflective housing? JDM vehicles are RHD and we ovbiously are LHD. Will i have any issues with the light beams not shining properly?

I know my EL headlights have vertical and horizontal adjustment screws, and i assue the Domani ones do as well. Can i just adjust the horizontal to get them pointed in the right direction?

 

The internals of the housing are actually molded and aimed the opposite of the El headlights. You probably won't get pulled over by the cops, but will anoy oncoming drivers on many roads

 

Ya, i have done more reading and it is becomming apparent that i will likely annoy a lot of other people on the highway.

I wonder if it is worth the effort to switch the reflective housing to not annoy people.
I guess at the end of the day it is only an hour or so of labour.

 

When i seal up the headlights again, does anyone know what that grey adhesive is?

Is it hondabond?

 

I'm bot sure what the OEM material is, but I've see a few how to's/DIY that used clear silicone caulking from the hardware store.
