swap choice delma
hey guys, i have a 1991 crx HF at the moment and i wanna take the original single out to rebuild it but for the meantime i wanna do a swap but im undecided on what to do, my friends have GS-R's and LS's in there cars and they make pretty good power. I want something thats gonna be fast and somewhat easy of a swap, people are telling me b16A is the easiest of course cause of the obd0 setup already but im willling to go thru a little bit of a job if the swap is worth it, any suggestions or ideas?

Rebuilding a D15B6? Good luck with that - parts are rare.
Swapping an engine just to put the stock one back in makes 100% no sense. Unless you are doing it for emissions I guess... This has only been covered 100,000,000 times before... There are going to opinions and facts. Each engine has its advantage and disadvantage be it price, power, availability, installation, ect... Obviously to be "fast", especially for STOCK, you want the biggest engine with the most power and the shortest gear ratio transmission. That leaves you with the Type R or GSR as viable options. Each engine option (B16, B18C, B18A/B, ect) does have advantages particular to each though... Since this is HEAVILY covered I am not going to repeat it here.
