I just bought a type r that had some work done, exhaust manifold was not one of those mods.

Someone was just looking at it and said the upper half of the exhaust manifold was a gsr.

Long story short, we are having a bet.

A USDM stock integra type r exhaust manifold - is it two pieces, similar to a gsr, with just the lower half being different.
Or is it a 1 piece header, 4-1 style?

I tried searching, but haven't found a very specific answer.

 

It is 2 pieces. Not sure whats the difference if there is any

 

i THINK there is a difference in shape between the itr and gsr uppers. it's basically the same thing but i remember a 97 jdm manifold looking different than the gsr next to it. as far as i know the 96-97 jdm and usdm all years uppers are identical.

In that pic you stated 97 and up, that is for the US ITR only right?
