JDM OBDI into 5th gen.
okay, i have some questions as regard to the tuning and emissions.
i currently have a h22a4 in my 2000 prelude base. i know i will have to use the oil pump and dizzy off the a4 when i do my swap.
1. i would like to know if the h22a is capable of running with the stock ecu in my 5th gen?
also, i plan to rebuild the head off the a4 with cams, valve springs and retainers, and cam gears.
2. but to get it tuned i need to get a p28 obd1 to tune it properly, because the stock ecu is not tuneable? is that correct? i would like to pass emissions here in north houston.
3. would the AEM EMS allow me to hook up the car via obdII port and still have full tuning capability?
oh, i forgot to mention, i'm a state inspector.

thanks, i knew that but i just wanted to make sure. but i am still a little confused about the second part, where the emissions testing comes into play when i get a p28 to tune.
