cracked a slipstream on my dd and need to order another one.

i forget exactly what size i initially got...since that was a long time ago.

they're 16's, tape measure shows approx 8" outside of rim to outside of rim (but hard to tell with /45/ tire on there)

on the inside the markings read "1670" "40" and "500"

can i assume the 40 means +40 offset...
the 16 means 16" diameter
and maybe the 70 means 7"

I would say its safe to assume that they're +40 offset 16x7 wheels. The outside lip measurement isn't the correct width of the wheel, anyways. Its from the inner mounting point, which is typically a 1" overall narrower dimension, when comparing to the outer lip measurement.
