Loud grinding after clutch and flywheel replacement
98 dx, finished replacing the factory flywheel and clutch with a fidanza light weight, and competition clutch 6 puck sprung hub. After bolting everything back together, the car makes a loud grinding nose when running. It sounds like the noise you get when you take your foot off the clutch when you're only half in gear. Doesn't matter what gear, clutch position, or as far as I can tel engine RPM.
Already pulled off the transmission brace and flywheel guard, and the scraping isn't there. Also tossed a beaker bar on the crank and spun it while looking in with a flash light, clearance looks fine between the flywheel and block. The car also felt like it was wiling to drive normally, but I wasn't wanting to risk damaging anything.
Things I've eliminated:
Flywheel/block clearance
Axles (happens in all gears, including neutral)
Clutch (same as above)
Transmission (same as above)
Has anyone dealt with this in the past? What should I start looking for?

I ruled that out as well. Started the car, unbolted and removed the starter while the car was running, grinding was still there.
I put the new one in the same way the old one came out, so I'd assume so, but I'll double check. Would that make a noise with clutch engaged and disengaged, though? I thought TOB made noise with clutch pedal in, and ISB make noise with clutch pedal out.
Logically thinking, there isn't much to grind in there. The flywheel, clutch and pressure plate all have smooth surfaces. Is it possible the wrong combination of parts were ordered? I'm thinking the springs on the clutch might be hitting the flywheel bolts.
Could I tell that just with a visual check of the bolts and springs? I also replaced the flywheel and pressure plate bolts with ARP, but they all looked to be the same size. With all the **** I went through with the company I ordered my parts from, I'm going to be severely pissed if they sent me a wrong part. Took three months to get all of my parts, because they kept messing up. First, the clutch I wanted was on backorder and they didn't tell me. Next, my order got mysteriously canceled without them refunding me or telling me.
Well, when the weather isn't ****, I'll pull the tranny again and see what there is to see.

Sounds like something wasn't put together right. Maybe a loose flywheel or pressure plate bolt? Does it do it when the clutch is pushed in? If the noise stops when you push in the clutch it could be something in the transmission... To make that much noise it would almost seem that there would need to be something bouncing around in the bellhousing.
