I have a set of xxr 522's which i got for cheap. i found a guy with 16in ssr type c's with good tires and rims are flawless.

i am gonna put cash on top, but how much should i put on top for it to still be worth getting them?

the guy wants 400 on top, i really only wanna do 300... is the extra 100 bucks worth it?

btw dont try and tell me ya its worth it cuz they are expensive *** wheels, i know they are expensive but there are plenty of other wheels around i can buy that arent worth as much money but would cost less cash on top of my wheels.

if you were in my situation how much would you be willing to put on top while still feeling like you got a good deal.

 

I would definitely say that $400 and your wheels is a fair trade. Those Type-C's are almost half what the XXR's weigh, for starters.

 

I agree. I'd say it's a pretty stellar deal. I love those wheels. You'll probably notice the difference in driving your car immediately. I know I did in switching from my ~20lb Konigs to my 11.1lb Volks.

 

i ended up trading for white rota grids with better tires straight across, and now that i have a bunch of extra cash that i was gonna spend i think imma pick up the subcompact springfield xd9
