Got my jdm h22a motor over the weekend.
It was auto long block which I just tore down....40-50,000 miles max
I mean what can I say, journals are prefect, I almost seriousely want to save money and reused the oem bearings in them cause they have almost no markings on them.
Aside from the bearing oil passage of the bearings which cause discoloraction it's 10 out of 10. I mean you could polish it to remove the oil colors out but it's not going to make any difference in power, just uniform in color. lol

$50 for micropolishing @ wagogman brothers of fridley mn (i have all my cranks done there)
