Default blower motor

A few days back I clicked the fan on for the heat, and my blower motor was vibrating like crazy. I removed the glovebox, and removed the 3 self tapping screws holding the blower motor in.. BUT I CANT GET IT OUT OF THE HOUSING.

The carpet is already removed due to a persistent rain leak, so that isnt in the way. I removed the computer for added clearance, but I still cant manage to pull it from the housing. I'm afraid if I pull any harder I'll break the fan.

Can anyone offer any suggestions or techniques to get this out? It was 35 degrees this morning and I want my heat back.

I have a complete blower assembly with good resistor. It is out of a '90CRX HF, but fits a Civic as well as 89-91 CRXs. I suspect you need to unclamp the unit from the duct going to the heater itself.
If you want the unit I have-drop me an e-mail.

The easiest thing to do would be to remove the whole bower unit from under the dash (it sounds like you are trying to take it apart while under the dash and take out just the motor from it?)

Before i give any advice, a couple questions.....do you have A/C? If soo, is it working? If this is the case, then I'm not sure what to tell you, I have had no reason to take out the blower since i installed the A/C. If you do have A/C but it is not charged, then the easiest thing to do would be to unbolt the lines leading to the under dash A/C condenser from inside the engine bay, the pull out the condenser...that will give you the room to remove the blower unit. If you have no A/C, then you need to remove the tube that runs from the blower to the heater core (i think it's like 4 bolts or screws), and you will be able to take out the blower unit. Replace the whole unit from a donor car or someone who wants to sell it to you. That would be my suggestion.
Good luck
