Default f23 pistons ina f22?

ive researched looking for this answer but havent found anything that has satisfied me enough to be sure it would work

im trying to see if the f23a1/a5 pistons (86mm @ 9.3:1 comp/rt) would fit ina f22b1 block bored to 86mm..has anyone tried this or have any specs on the f23 pistons? such as piston pin size, or if the pin doesnt fit in the b1's rods correctly or need to run diffrent rods ect.

or if anyone has anything on the f20b pistons, if they'd fit or if there is any diffrences between the b1's pistons?

i am currently shopping around looking for pistons for the f22b1 but having troubles b/c i dont wanna spend $450+ on pistons-_-

if anyone can give their 2 cents on other honda pistons that could fit aswell would be greatly appriciated

thanks in advance,

It'll fit considering both are 86mm bore. You'll just have to make sure that the wrist pin works with the F22B1 rods. Why not just go with a set of F22 to make it easier?

Because im trying todo something alittle diffrent, i could just deck like. 03 off the block or the head to bump my compression up abit and just run the f22 pistons like you said, what pistons were you running when you had your f22b1 with the bisi cam and the f23 manifold??

I couldev figured that the f23 piston pin wouldnt fit the f22 rod bc the k20 pin doesnt fit the f22 rod but fits the f23 lol

F23 and K-series use a floating pin, the F22 uses a pressed pin. also the compression height is different- 30.0 on the F23 and 30.55 on the F22. the combination you described will have almost the same (slightly lower) static compression ratio as the stock F22. seems like an awful lot of investment for a 50cc gain and less quench.
