Default more questions

As always got some more questions number one if you get your engine bored can you bore it a little bigger such as bisimoto bores. If so what else has to be done in order for your engine to run good. for example would i need new pistons, rods, etc. My second question is i was looking for intake manifolds for my f22b1 i heard that the f23 is really good for my f22b1 if i did so would my weapon r intake still fit fine on the f23

yes your weapon r intake would fit the f23 manifold. i installed the f23 manifold on my old f22b1. it was great upgrade and definitely worth while though slight modifications are needed for things to work properly and last

i think i have read that it is ok to bore the stock sleeves 1-2mm but anymore then that and the walls get too thin.

thank you bdm do you know exactly what those special mods for the manifold were cause i wanna look into getting one. Also when you bore you will need bigger pistons correct? the reason im asking all this is cause i wanna save up like four grand and send my engine to bisimoto to bore and sleeve the block, it says they bore up to 90mm but that would be a little more than 1-2mm like you said. I was gonna have my head ported i just wanted to know what else i would need to buy after they did all that. Such as will i need new piston since the block will be bored bigger and what car would the pistons be fore since they would need to be bigger and the oem f22b1.

not sure if i covered it in there or not but a throttle body spacer will make the mod easier unless you wanna mod the upper plenum so that the iac fits on backwards. i still have my old upper modified f23 plenum. you have to use jb weld and a dremel so that the air from the throttle body goes to the bottom port and then goes out of the iac through the top port. this will save you from having to use a throttle body spacer and from cutting up your iac ports
