New to the scene New to Honda
Hi all
Just picked up and old Prelude for $900 i was going to just flip it, until i took it for a spin up in the mountains and realized how much fun she is to drive.
the car is a 1989 Prelude SI 4WS, so far this weekend i had to replace its rear taillight and a motor mount. other than that it has a nasty camber issue in the drivers side front and a bad oil leak that im still working on. but it is a blast to drive. Ive never seen one of these before so i looked online and havent seen much for upgrades for the car. i was wondering what you guys think about it and if you had any ideas

Nice find and welcome to the honda world! You can find useful information around here but you would have to dig deep. People around here mostly deal with the 4th and 5th generations of preludes. What you have is a 3rd generation. You will definitely have better luck checking out preludep o w e r.com(no spaces). They have a 3rd gen specific section. 1funryd frequents these forums aswell. He is a 3rdgen enthusiast. Good luck, and again, Welcome!
Yeah, PP has some pretty dope project 3g preludes, I've seen some interesting NA setups and a boosted H22 swap into a 3g.
The H22 into a 3g is a big project, but I've seen them, so it is possible with enough time, money and imagination.
