Now to Honda and Honda-Tech
Hello all!
I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. My brother and some friends have had Hondas for the last 10 years or so, but I never have. I've been through several cars over the years, but lately have been into Subarus. For the last 3 years, I've been driving an '08 WRX that has accumulated a fair share of mods over the years. Don't get my wrong, I love the car, but it is getting to be time to move on.
I've had my fun with the game of modifying and tuning, now I am looking to get into something that is fun in it's stock form. I am missing the factory reliability and driveability that a stock (or near stock) car has. The WRX is perfectly reliable, but the stock-like driveability just isn't there. The loud exhaust, stout clutch, and loud fuel pump just make it unpleasant to drive at times.
In a couple weeks, I am picking up a Suzuka Blue AP1 from a friend who is selling it. Its a 2002 with 102,000 miles, and is BONE STOCK. I can't express how excited I am to get into an S2000. I've always wanted one, but couldn't convince myself that it was practical enough for me.
I'd love to keep the WRX, and drive the S2000 on nice days, but I can't justify the insurance cost of a WRX and an S2000. I'm currently working on trading my WRX for an '08 Si to act as my more practical DD.
If all goes according to plan, I will go from a WRX to an S2000 and an Si within the next month or 2. I really look forward to getting into something different, and becoming part of a new community!

Haha, wow. I called insurance today to get a quote for the Si. They want the same to insure the Si as the WRX. Needless to say, I'll be keeping my WRX.
You can still find me in the S2000 section!
Here's my WRX:

I was going to be shocked if the Si was cheaper on insurance. They're both on the same tier of "sports" cars and the WRX is going to yield a much more "year round" experience. lol
