hello just bought a 1986 honda accord for my son i can do basic repairs, and this car has a few isues .. it is 26 years old. lol ill be on here looking for how too's and basic repair info. thanks

the main issue is when the car is cold... itwont shift out of first. but when it warms up, after 5-10 minutes it does drive and shift. but it does whine while driving though any thoughs ??

Manual? Have you changed the fluid? If not, I'd change it and put in a high quality synthetic like royal purple or red-line. That will stretch the little bit of life left in it.
