ok i have a wierd problem 92 accord is white smokeing bad when you give it gas not so bad when idle then sometimes it just stops smokeing....i have done all checkes to see if the head gasket was blown my oil doesnt look milky nothing under the oil cap. the car is not overheating and is not burning any coolant as far as i know.....any suggestion

 

Does the smoke smell sweet?are sure its not oil?

 

if everything checks out ok (like no trouble codes),

it may just be water vapor (unless it "smells" sweet ~ sign of antifreeze out the exhaust)

only doing this on cold startup? not during engine operating temps? sometimes in certain times of the year, any vehicle has excessive white smoke/ water vapor
