Default Ef9_tryme's welding journey

As I've been doing research on fabrication, tig welding, metals, etc. I finally started to tig weld for the first time and I must say I am in love with it.

I am doing inch beads and going straight. What I noticed about tig welding is that u can follow a pretty noticeable stream in the back of where the weld forms itself with the metal more clearly than mig welding. Or maybe it's just me...anyways, when I follow how to weld I look straight to the push weld an prepare ad imaginary trail of where my weld is going. I'm practicing on that kind of technique because it's my personal preference. Let me know what u think...

Heres my second week.

Noticed when u do corner joints, butt joints, gaps .. it comes out more natural than when your actually making multiple beads that form a 2-3 inch line.
